Compress Air, Recover Heat

By Jeremy Sickmiller - Released on February 9, 2024
The heat that’s generated by your air compression system can be used in a variety of ways.

Compressed air generation consumes up to 10 percent of a manufacturing facility's energy cost, and up to 93 percent of that energy is converted to heat. By recovering this heat by-product, manufacturers can realize significant savings. From pre-heated make-up air, operation water heating, or supplemental plant heating, the uses for this heat energy are (nearly) endless.

To learn more, read the article from Jeremy Sickmiller, Director of New Product Development Engineering at Hitachi Global Air Power in Efficient Plant magazine.
